Today, when I was teaching in the class, some of the
students were complaining, “miss, Karma Thinley is eating in the class”. So I
asked him, “Karma Thinley, are you really eating in the class?” He was
reluctant to accept that he was eating. So I went near him and checked if there
is anything he is hiding. So I found this wild fruit in his bag. I was little
surprised and concerned too because I was not really aware that it is edible.
So I took all the fruits and asked another teacher whether it is edible or not.
“Yes, we can eat that fruit. It is good for our health”. So I felt, wow!
because it’s new to me.
So I went back to class and announced to them that
it is edible and good for our health.
I asked him, if he can share that fruit to all the
class III students, he was really happy and excited to share with others. So
after the class, all the class III students tasted that fruit and we all have
learned that “Robthang Say” is edible and it’s good for our health. It can cure
diarrhoea and stomach ache.
